One Offense:
Basic set #1 out front with ball.
#2 and #4 out on the wings at foul line extended.
#3 sits on baseline.
#5 at elbow of foul line.

NOTE: best base line shooter is used along base line.

OFFENSE STARTS OPPOSITE #5 'S POSITION

Rules of offensive positions
#1 Runs the offense from out front.
#2 and #4 have the entire side of the floor to operate and find open spots in seams of the defense.
#3 has the entire base line to find openings.
#5 has the entire paint to find open areas.

#1 passes to #4.
#3 finds an open position along the base line, at low block looking for pass from #4.
#5 floats to an open spot in the paint for a pass from #4.
#2 finds a spot on the weak side waiting for a skip pass from #4.

IMPORTANT > find seams in zone

#3 when receiving ball face out > find a cutter in seams.

#4 has the option to dribble toward the baseline to set up a pass to #3 at low block dribble toward the basket to force the defense to commit or shot if no one comes out to play defense.
#4 passes to #3 at the low block after dribbling down the side.
#5 rolls to center of lane.
#2 slides down weak side for a pass or rebound.
#1 stays up top to stop fast break on missed shot.
#4 looks for open area for return pass.

#3 has the option to shoot, pass to #5 or #4.
The #3 player at low block is just one option off of the offense.

There are a lot of options for whichever player has the ball.
#3 when receiving ball face out > (acts as a point guard) find a cutter in seam of zone.

This is the left side after the ball reversal.
